Product Description
Valley Yarns Desert Willow is a versatile pattern that can help you create your ideal cabled cardigan from timeless to trendy. Geared towards experienced knitters, this cardigan has a variety of options that allow you to mix and match them to create the exact sweater that you can’t wait to wear. Options include cropped or hip lengths and traditional tapered sleeves or statement sleeves gathered at the wrist. Whichever choices you make, you will have a finished cardigan that is cozy, warm, and rich with cables and texture. This v-neck, modified drop shoulder sweater is knit in Amherst, a smooth and round Merino wool yarn that comes in a range of classic colors and sports a stitch definition perfect for showing off stitch patterns. Desert Willow is knit flat in pieces from the bottom up with a three-needle bind-off joining the shoulders and seams at the sides. Sleeve stitches are picked up around the armhole and worked in the round to the cuff and a ribbed buttonband gives a perfect finishing touch.
