Little Knit Pullover
I have started this but did not go on with it yet as I decided that the yarn was not suitable. So now I am on the lookout for a different Hand Spun yarn in my many boxes of yarns.

The Valley Yarns Little Knit Pullover is a child-sized sweater designed by Kirsten Hipsky, available in four sizes to fit infants and toddlers from 0-3 months through 12-24 months. The finished chest measurements range from 16 inches for the smallest size to 22 inches for the largest. This pullover features a purl-free design, making it an accessible project for knitters who prefer to work primarily with knit stitches.
This sweater is constructed using several key knitting techniques that make it both efficient and beginner-friendly despite its advanced beginner difficulty rating:
The Little Knit Pullover employs a minimal stitch vocabulary, which contributes to its purl-free appeal:
The Little Knit Pullover is designed to be both practical and comfortable for active children:
The sweater begins with two separate pieces cast on at the lower body edge. Each piece is worked flat in garter stitch for 7 rows, then the pieces are joined in the round and worked continuously in stockinette stitch until the body reaches the desired length to the underarm. The yoke is then shaped through a combination of flat rows and strategic decreases, with stitches bound off for the neck opening and sleeves finished using the 3-needle bind off method. This construction method minimizes seaming while maintaining the structural integrity needed for a well-fitting child's garment.
