Product Description
For the knitter who welcomes various techniques in a single pattern, Valley
Yarns Wainscot features a dramatic slip-stitch colorwork border, cable front
panels, a shawl color, and set-in pockets trimmed with I-cord. This women’s
cardigan is knit flat in Valley Superwash DK in one piece from the bottom up to
the underarm. Shoulders are joined using 3-Needle Bind Off. Front bands and
shawl collar are picked up and worked along the front and neck edges. Long
set-in sleeves are knit from the shoulders in the round to the cuffs. Valley
Yarns Valley Superwash DK is made from 100% extra fine Merino which makes it
incredibly soft and an excellent choice for both kids’ and adults’ projects. Valley
Superwash DK is machine-washable in cold water with a gentle detergent or
Eucalan. The 3-ply construction of this yarn gives it excellent stitch
definition, so it’s a great choice for colorwork, and more! The slip stitch
colorwork and cable patterns are charted and written out.
