I like that the colors in the weight I wanted were available, and I like that the project I wanted to make could be machine washed. It’s black and gold! I’m loving the feel and look forward to working with it every day.
This is my always go to yarn. I’ve used many but I always go back to the superwash. Besides being soft and comfortable it has fabulous definition for those fancy stitches and it cables beautifully. I’ve been using this Valley Yarn superwash for more than 10 years and will keep on knitting with it as long as my fingers hold out.

I knitted the Paintbox yarn into a chemo cap for a young man who has lost his hair. The wool is soft and not itchy, and the superwash ability is fantastic for being able to sterilize the item (I used peroxide, then white vinegar). The yarn didn't split while knitting up. It was shipped and delivered quickly so I didn't have to wait to knit.
It is wonderfully squishy and a dream to knit with. It worked really well with the garter stitch. I will definitely use it again in the future.
Bought this yarn for a Christmas stocking project. It is a soft, springy 4ply Merino, DK weight - although I am currently using a #8 needle. This product is a superwash so it is great for kids knits, hats and gloves. Really good color palate!

the wool is very soft and luxurious. so far, only one ball has had multiple knots; and they were at the end of the ball.
