The textured stitch pattern in this beanie is simple making it an excellent crochet pattern for those who have mastered the basics (single, half-double, and double crochet), and want to play around with them in new ways. You can find a matching scarf pattern on my site, to make this a set. I designed this hat with Lion Brand “Heartland” yarn making it soft and cozy, yet lightweight enough for summer evenings. Not only would this beanie serve you well on a camping or hiking trip, it would also make an excellent piece to donate to charitable organizations that provide hats for cancer patients.
