Could a knit be any juicier? This big, bright and pip-filled Watermelon Cushion is knitted in chunky yarn and makes a refreshing décor change to perk up your sofa. The cushion knits up quick in acrylic chunky yarns, and makes a great weekend project. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the body of the cushion is knitted on circular needles for magic loop in the round, and the rind is knitted flat on single points. For confident beginners and above, techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, change colour to knit stripes, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
