Product Description
Blankets are the perfect way to add a splash of color and texture to your surroundings. This one delivers on both counts!
The all-over diamond lattice design is worked using decreases and lifted increases. Within each diamond is a 3-twist cable set against a Reverse Stockinette stitch background. The result is an intricately textured blanket that's gorgeous to look at and interesting to knit.
Diamond cable stitch pattern is fully charted and written, so you can follow your preference. The Garter stitch border is knit in for easy, seamless finishing.
This blanket knits up perfectly in a worsted-weight yarn that has excellent stitch definition. Shown here is the baby blanket size. Two larger sizes are included in the pattern.
Sample shown in knit in Knit Picks Swish Worsted. Easily substitute a worsted-weight yarn with great stitch definition. Some suggestions listed.
