I love the color, especially the different purples with black. I'm using it for a dragonfly shawl. The stripes are working out great and the yarn is not splitting. It's soft compared to some 100% wool yarns. It is very easy to crochet with and I just love it.
Using this for a man's sweater and as with past experiences with Cascade 220, I am very pleased with the feel , stitch definition and look as the sweater grows! The color changes (Dusk) are subtle and adding variation to make the sweater more interesting.
The yarn is soft. Love that it is washable. The colors were not as vibrant as they were in the picture.
It’s a lovely colorway design on a reliable and ethical workhorse wool. I'm using it as an accent color for shawls. I'm crocheting actually, and they show up really nicely. They are very subtle and not as dramatic as the photos.

Cascade 220 Superwash is quite soft and not at all itchy. It machine washes and dries beautifully through many washings. I highly recommend this yarn. I’ve used it single and double strand.
The yarn was enjoyable to work with, no splitting, and I liked the color palette. The color dusk was true to the website photo but seemed a little duller once worked up into a men’s crochet scarf. Two skeins worked into a 56x7-1/2” scarf using half double and single crochet stitches. It’s not as soft as some washable wool I’ve used but easier to work with and soft enough, I don’t think it will be scratchy. I would buy it again.

Soft and easy to work with. Beautiful color. I’m using it to make a lacy throw for summer. The blue tones remind me of the oceans, changing hues in the depths and shallows.
The yarn is beautiful, soft to the touch and worked up well. I always love having a nice, washable yarn to make thing for the grandchildren
