I have a large collection of Cascade yarns that I use mainly to make fair isle mittens and hats. It is a lovely yarn to work with and shows the patterns well. The 100% wool keeps hands and heads warm in the winter and retains moisture when wet. It’s my go-to yarn.
It was the correct yarn for a project that called for excessively expensive yarn. I am using it for the Cobblestone Mitts by Jodi Horgan of Flower Hill Farm and Mill. It is working beautifully. It works beautifully for the stitch definition.
I like the Peruvian yarn softness and color selection. I'm using it for hats that are then felted.
I'm using it for a sweater, and the pattern called for Cascade 220. It knit up beautifully, and the sweater turned out really nice. It fits me very well, and I love the feel. Since it’s summer, I have not had a chance to wear it yet. I'm sure it will be great.
