Used double to knit a cabled blanket. Great stitch definition. Love the long length! Great value. Easy to see errors and fix.

Even when I ran out of yarn and bought 3 more skeins, with different dye lots (in natural colour), there is no difference in colour after washing.

Softens with washing.

Comments about Cascade Yarns Ecological Wool:

I've used the Eco+ and Ecological Wool for several scarves/cowls, and am now using it (held double) to knit throw blankets. The yarn feels a little scratchy at first, but softens up to a LOVELY feel once blocked. I love blocking this yarn! The tension/stiffness really loosens and whatever you have made turns to gold.

Sometimes you'll find some plant/vegetable matter stranded into the plies, but for such huge skeins, I have never found a single knot! This yarn is a solid go-to, always. Great quality, great price.

I used the Cascade Eco Wool and Noro Kureyon to knit the !!POP!! pattern - baby blanket size. It looks marvelous and feels so soft. It will be a big hit with the new parents.

I use this yarn when it first came out to knit a "Comfy Raglan" on US 11 needles In the natural shade and it has become a favorite go-to sweater in colder months. I recently purchase two skeins of the Antique shade in a lovely gray-brown which I have slated for a "Lone Wolf" lace pullover on US 9's or the "Ramona Cardigan" by Liz Smith. The yarn is soft and somewhat rustic but sophisticated as well. Highly recommend this incredibly valued yarn in 500 yard hanks!

I have made two sweaters and a hat with this yarn and they feel and look beautiful. I would recommend this yarn to anyone. I do wish Webs would get more different colors in this yarn. I have found some other colors on other websites and have purchased them but would prefer to buy from Webs!
