I would have given 5 stars but I bought two skeins and was knitting with them together. One skein was at least 20 yards shorter than the other. I have never experienced this before.

The order and everything went well. I just didn't like the yarn itself. I should have touched it before buying it. Unfortunately, mailing it back was expensive, so I just donated it.

It is not the softest yarn, and there were imperfections.

Initially the feel of the fiber was a bit coarse, but as I worked with the yarn it relaxed and has beautiful, uniform look. Very pleased and will look for more.

It is lovely yarn- nice colors. We used it to do cross-stitch on 3 1/2 count Turkestan- turned out beautifully!

This is a really nice yarn, it's best used with size 8 needles. Smooth knit and great when washed and dried. Does not felt.

I buy yarn with the idea that I will make a sweater from it. However, this yarn is very scratchy, and there is a lot of sheep hair in with the wool. This made it unsuitable for a sweater. In the meantime, I decided I wanted a wool blanket for the bed. This wool is perfect for that, and I ordered enough to make one. I am in the process of making this blanket now, and it will turn out very well.

Even though the price was good the yarn is not the same quality as Cascade 200 nor are the colors as clear. Sadly I bought a lot to make a throw and the colors are dull. Next time I wait for a Cascade 200 sale.

This yarn was not what I expected. I ordered it to knit an Emotional Support Chicken for the children at my church. The yarn is labeled “recycled wool”. I didn’t care for the feel of it and I noticed as I knitted with it that the dye was coming off on my fingers. I wouldn’t recommend it.
