It is lovely yarn- nice colors. We used it to do cross-stitch on 3 1/2 count Turkestan- turned out beautifully!
Even though the price was good the yarn is not the same quality as Cascade 200 nor are the colors as clear. Sadly I bought a lot to make a throw and the colors are dull. Next time I wait for a Cascade 200 sale.
Love this yarn. Nice worsted
This is a really nice yarn, it's best used with size 8 needles. Smooth knit and great when washed and dried. Does not felt.
I buy yarn with the idea that I will make a sweater from it. However, this yarn is very scratchy, and there is a lot of sheep hair in with the wool. This made it unsuitable for a sweater. In the meantime, I decided I wanted a wool blanket for the bed. This wool is perfect for that, and I ordered enough to make one. I am in the process of making this blanket now, and it will turn out very well.
Love the softness and elasticity of this yarn.
I like this yarn, it's very soft and has excellent elasticity. I'm very pleased so far with the sweater I am knitting from it.
The yarn says that this is 100 percent wool however there is a great percentage of super wash fibers and other types of "wool" that does not allow this to felt. Working with the yarn after years you can feel the difference...should you be looking for a reliable wool this is not the one to use...
A little rough
I bought revive yarn for Felting project. Nowhere in the information was there a warning that it could be mixed with other fiber. The label said 100% wool. And didn’t state that some might be super wash wool or a mix of fibers besides wool. When I took my felted bag out out of the washer, the section knit with revive didn’t felt and the whole project was ruined. A lot of expense and work went into that bag and there’s no way to Rescue it.
