Koigu KPM is a 100% Merino wool yarn in drop-dead gorgeous, semi-solid colors in saturated shades. This fingering weight yarn has 2 plies, and is great for socks, shawls, accessories or lightweight sweaters. KPM combines beautifully with KPPPM, the same yarn base hand-dyed in variegated colorways.
Hand-dyed yarns have subtle variations in colors that are natural and may vary from skein to skein. There may be differences between pictures shown and the yarn you receive. To ensure the best results for your project:- Buy enough yarn for your entire project at one time.
- When using hand-dyed yarn in your project work two rows from one skein and two rows from another skein to give an overall blended effect.

Koigu creates a good selection of colors in small skeins of yarn, I just love Koigu KPM!
A wonderful yarn!
Buying Koigu KPM from Webs saves all the nonsense with Tariffs that has come to be my largest yarn issue. I love wools from around the world. Koigu feels great in my hand as I knit and doesn’t cause backlash after project completion. It doesn’t have pilling issues, etc. it is just good yarn, with many many colors.
Koigu KPM is just old fashioned GREAT yarn. I wanted to build a solid selection of mini-skein yarns for a few projects I’ve been working. Steven West has a fun Jigsaw Blanket that uses many small skeins of color and I chose to knit with two colors together! But I also started looking at striped sweaters or just the sleeves in stripes. So I need more than just leftovers and decided to build in a good selection of Koigu as part of my base.
I have knit with Koigu yarn for 20 years and love it. It is soft, well spun and knits up beautifully. This is the first time I am giving a 4 rating instead of a 5 because the picture showed predominantly green and the yarn delivered was predominantly black. Fortunately I can still use it as intended.

I love Koigu KPM. I used this batch for crochet an edging for a blanket, but have made many a pair of socks with Koigu. I'm think a hat would look nice in this great yarn.
