"Showpony" Yarn
Rather than the expected "workhorse yarn" I was hoping to work with, I noticed that there is little to no elasticity in the yarn so if you pull/tug your tension even just a little too tight, the working yarn easily breaks away; a looser wrist/pattern is needed with this yarn. That being said, the scratchy tendencies minimize after soaking in some lanolin, and does a very good job keeping warmth and moisture controlled (made house slippers with this yarn).
