The beautiful color selection makes Lopi Léttlopi perfect for Fair Isle work, from warm sweaters and mittens to resilient pillows. It is great for felting as well. Note that some do not find Léttlopi comfortable to wear next to skin.

It's amazing for Icelandic sweater knitting. It feels a little rough. But after washing, it becomes so soft and fluffy. Highly recommend!
I just love this beautiful yarn! So warm and cozy, and the colors are spectacular! I chose the dark plum and the ‘hairs’ of red, blue and gold add such beautiful depth and sheen. I’ve already ordered it again in the colorway ‘galaxy’. Be warned this is a very rustic, hairy, and somewhat scratchy wool, but it’s just the thing for super warm and beautiful mitts!
Lightweight, super warm, great stitch definition for colorwork. Only complaint (and I knew this before buying) is it can be itchy. However, I made a larger sweater to allow ease for wearing a base layer. Handwashed it twice and it seemed to decrease the itchiness a bit.
Love the colors. Very easy to blend to make a tweed look. Easy to knit with several needle sizes. Great for making holiday mittens!
This yarn has a wonderfully natural feel to it which is exactly what I was looking for. Very happy with my purchase and highly recommend.
Great selection and good service. I have used Lettlopi for 2 sweaters last year. This yarn works up to a very warm but quite light weight sweater. Good stuff!
I LOVE LOPI!! One of my favorite yarns. Be forewarned, once you use it, you can’t stop thinking about the next project to use it with. 👏. It is WARM, so use as outerwear. Some find it scratchy.. I soak the finished project in hair conditioner. Works like a charm.
I loved the colorway, it was easy to crochet with, but it is a bit scratchy which is to be expected. I would definitely purchase it again.
