I’m sorry to hear you found the yarn difficult to work with. Because the yarn has no twist, it can feel quite fragile and split easily while working with it compared to plied yarns.
It often helps to use a gentle tension and a light touch, letting the fibres be guided rather than pulled tightly.
While it can feel delicate when knitting, it’s designed to create a light, warm, and sturdy fabric once finished, and it also felts very well.
