Note: You will need approximately 400 yards for a basic pair of socks for an average women's size.

Hand-dyed yarns have subtle variations in colors that are natural and may vary from skein to skein. There may be differences between pictures shown and the yarn you receive. To ensure the best results for your project:

  • Buy enough yarn for your entire project at one time.
  • When using hand-dyed yarn in your project work two rows from one skein and two rows from another skein to give an overall blended effect.

If you have any questions or concerns about hand-dyed yarn, please contact Customer Service.

These colors are spectacular! I used a bit of the Jaipur pink in a shawl for a friend and love how it knits up. The Moraine Lake color way is currently sitting on my table inspiring me with its vivid blue.

Loved the color range and worked well in the shawlette.

I used one cake for a small shawl. I love Malabrigo yarn.

Beautiful colors and yarn.

I made a scarf from this yarn using a simple lace stitch. It was fun to work with and the results are just stunning. I love the overall color shift and the variegations along the way. It held together (no splitting) well as I worked, too. I added beads for sparkle.

Beautiful gradient! Super soft too!

It's very exciting to have the squishy loveliness of Malabrigo Sock, but as a gradient. It's as pretty in person as online.
