Product Details

Malabrigo Metamorphosis Sock takes the soft, versatile superwash Merino you love from Sock and adds stunning ombré colorways for incredible project options. This fingering weight yarn is delightful to work with and works up into shawls, cowls, and sweaters that are a dream to wear and benefit from the added interest of the gradient color effects. Choose Metamorphosis Sock for one of a kind projects that you can't wait to watch unfold!

Note: You will need approximately 400 yards for a basic pair of socks for an average women's size.

Hand-dyed yarns have subtle variations in colors that are natural and may vary from skein to skein. There may be differences between pictures shown and the yarn you receive. To ensure the best results for your project:

  • Buy enough yarn for your entire project at one time.
  • When using hand-dyed yarn in your project work two rows from one skein and two rows from another skein to give an overall blended effect.

If you have any questions or concerns about hand-dyed yarn, please contact Customer Service.

I've been a HUGE fan of all the different weights, etc of Malabrigo yarn ever since I started crocheting about 15yrs or so. Love the quality overall with all various options, whether it be the wools or silk blend or whatever! The colors...the tonal ones are so nice as opposed to solids for many projects, and they works wonders alongside the multi color yarns. If I was ever told I could use brand of yarn for rest of my life I'd have to pick Malabrigo, even though there are many brands I also love... must have various choices, that's half the fun of planning out next project!!!
