Love this tweedy, woolly yarn. Replacing a sweater I knit in it years and years ago. Yarn's the same—great quality and wonderful colors!
Bought to make a Chanel style jacket for my sister, project is next on the needles.
I used this in a brioche sweater. For once I bought the yarn the pattern suggested. No doubt it will last forever, but it was rough on the hands. I pulled debris--plant matter--from the yarn. It is a bit thick/thin so not as uniform stitch size as I'd like. Definitely not for next-to-the-skin projects.
I haven't made this up yet but the quality is great.
Beautiful tweedy look for timeless sweaters. Great colours. One of my favorite yarns to knit a texture stitch.
Gorgeous rich color, scratchy but should make a perfect cabled pullover!
I'm using this yarn for the button band on a cardigan I am knitting. The sweater is striped and the color blends well with the others.
Love this for my jacket from Jean Frost's Jackets book.
Made up very nicely. Quality yarn. I'm
This yarn was recommended to me by my friend. I had a goal to knit an Irish sweater. At first sight the yarn is stiff, but it completely changes immediately after the first wash. I washed it in the washing machine, in warm water, with a special wool detergent, although the label says hand wash only. After washing, the yarn becomes soft and slightly fluffy. I really liked this yarn.
