There are many ways to draft a crepe structure. In this project, the Crepe Towel a straight draw is rearranged to produce irregular threadings. Repeating and alternating these two variations produce vertical stripes. And what could be easier than using a 3/2/1/2 tie-up, a straight treadling order and weaving with just one shuttle.
 	Equipment: 8-shaft loom with a minimum weaving width of 22”, one shuttle, a temple is helpful but not necessary.
 	Warp Yarn: Valley Yarn 6/2 unmercerized Cotton (100% cotton, 2520 yds/lb) 
     White - 633 yds
     Red - 525 yds
     Orange 210 yds
 	Weft Yarn: Valley Yarn 6/2 unmercerized Cotton (100% cotton, 2520 yds/lb) White - 984 yds
 	Warp: 3 yards of 456 ends (makes 2 towels)
 	Sett: 22 epi (2-3-3 in an 8-dent reed)
 	Dimensions: Width in reed: 20.7” 
 	Finished measurements: after washing, drying and hemming: 18” x 30”
