This is my second purchase of Brodie. I chose a different color. The yarn knits well, feels good and is easy to guard.
Made a beautiful winter hat and fingerless mitts from 2 balls of this Cashmere. Heavy weight and lovely to work with. Used a Tin Can Knits hat pattern. The mitts are my own desigh.
This is the least soft ""cashmere"" imaginable. The color is very nice and it's okay to work with, but if you're looking for soft cashmere, I recommend you look elsewhere.
I haven't used it yet. I made a birthday cowl (pattern called fot two cable needles to use. New challenge) for my sister of some light silk/merino/ cashmere and ran out of quantity. Since that yarn was not available but very lovely, I used a 75% cashmere/25% merino yarn which blended nicely. Of course that yarn was discontinued so I called customer support. She suggested Brodie so I ordered some. Need to make another for me! It's so soft but I haven't used it yet. I'm sure it will be comfy and warm.
Started off with this yarn to make a blanket, however it splits a little bit. You have to be careful with this one while knitting.
It's very soft & warm; lovely to work with and just what I wanted for the hat I made. With the soft texture it does not give clear stitch definition. There were a couple places in the ball where the yarn was broken & joined. It's soft & once while knitting, I used too much tension and the yarn snapped.
I haven't decided yet!
Not as soft or smooth texture as I expected. Yarn broke easily. Would not order again.
Nice texture and easy to work with.
Very soft. Sheds a surprising amount.
