I love this yarn! It has lots of colors, is machine wash and dry, and is 100% merino wool. It is very soft and reasonably priced. This yarn is squishy soft and so nice! I’m using the Valley Yarns merino superwash along with cascade 220 merino superwash. I love both yarns and easily use them together. I am making a pattern called Mandala Madness by Helen Shrimpton.
a knot in every skein and I ordered 18 and have used 5 so far. I bought 6 last October the skein was 153 yds , waited five months for more to come in, yardage is now 137 ys 2 dollars more and a knot in every skein I have used in the new order of 18 and as I said I have used five of this order,
I would not purchase the Valley Yarns Superwash DK again. I purchased 8 balls and each ball has had two or more join knots and even spots or yarn tangled and unwoven. Where I hd to cut it and knot to continue......always of course in the middle of a row. I'm knitting a blanket with this yarn and the knots show. The color and feel of the yarn is nice but the unseen knots in the middle of a ball is frustrating.

I absolutely love this yarn! The value is great for the quality. The colors are beautiful and the yarn is soft and bouncy. Great stitch definition.

Very nice yarn to work with. I took a Brioche class in Paris and the instructor felt it and gave it glowing compliments certain that it had silk in it! The colors that I chose were perfect to see the Brioche effect and helped me to find success with the stitch.
Really lovely yarn to work with. On my third project with it. Purchased it to make a baby sweater, had leftover, so I added to it to make a blanket, then added to it and made a hat! The dye lots were really so close, you couldn’t tell they weren’t from the same one.
Excellent merino yarn! Soft as expected, color is consistent among the 20 that I bought. Knitting up wonderfully. I’m happy that I took a chance on Valley Yarns.
Great color range, soft texture, consistent quality and consistent color across dye lots, reasonable price. Although I haven't yet washed the blanket I crocheted with this yarn, I'm delighted with how it looks. It was a pleasure to work with.
