Worthington compares to a more expensive yarn favorably, both in price and softness. I wish it came in more colors.

This is a good yarn for garments in a DK weight. I’m currently finishing (sleeve island) a cardigan that I’m repeating in a different color because the first is my most worn final product. I’m hoping that the out of stock colors get replaced soon, and perhaps even ( fingers crossed) add some new choices!
I m just beginning my project with this yarn but o far it seems to be producing a nice fabric and is pleasantries use for knitting. The colors re as pictured. The sweater will be beautiful. Unimaginaively, I used the patterns colorway and am thrilled so far.
I did not realize that the Worthington yarn ( which is alpaca blend) would be scratchy. I hope it softens up with use and isn't scratchy but I suspect I will need to wear a light T shirt under the sweater. I guess I should have done more research before purchasing it. Also, I ran out of yarn and needed to get more acorn color. I was unable to find anymore online. It has never resurfaced on the Webs website so I had to come up with another solution to finishing my project. The fact that I ran...
I like the yarn. It gives good stitch definition, but it breaks easily. I know it will knit into a warm garment for Fall and Winter.
This is the first time I have worked with Worthington. So far it is very nice to knit with and will make a lovely sweater!
Excellent yarn. Knits up easily and is very soft.
The yarn was much rougher than I imagined. The color was photographed accurately though.
I am disappointed in the yarn. It breaks easily at a weak spot, and I have started my project over 3 times. Different parts of the yarn have issues.
