Beautiful colors in turquoise and blue
I like the colors, especially the turquoise and blue shades. You don’t have to wind the yarn.

Valley Yarns Northampton is a workhorse yarn that you'll come back to time and time again. We sourced a soft Peruvian wool and dyed it in a beautiful collection of solid colors and heathered shades. It is a dream to felt and a superb choice for garments, blankets, and accessories especially cabled or colorwork projects! Northampton is beautiful and economical, too.

I really like Northampton for its large color range and also it’s affordable. It’s great for items like blankets that will get a lot of use. It’s great for both knit or crochet blankets. It wears well.
I make wool beanies for a living. Quality and price are important. It seemed like a basic wool with a reasonable price. It is a basic plied wool, so I expect it to be durable. It is nice to work with and I have no issues. I like it and will continue to use it as long as it is available. I only chose this yarn because my favorites were no longer available through your website. You are out of stock of all my preferred yarns and no information as to whether you will restock.
At the moment, I’m wearing a sweater knit from Valley Yarn’s Northampton and I have two more Northampton sweaters on my needles. This sweater is the first thing I put on in the morning. It’s so warm and cozy. There’s quit a bit of pilling at first but after the first few days of wearing a new Northampton garment, a good de-pilling sets it right. If you plan to gift a Northampton garment, be sure to include instructions on de-pilling so the recipient knows how to keep the garment presentable....
I have worked with Northampton before. I'm using it for a blanket for myself. It is nice to work with and washes well. I flat dry it, which is fine.
I love the 100% wool and beautiful colors at a great price! I plan to crochet a blanket.
I knit this checkered band hat. Yarn is nicely soft and easy to work with.
It’s a sticky hearty yarn. Nice colors. Reliable, good for colorwork
I love the weight and feel of the yarn I purchased. It has lots of great colors for my Fair Isle hats. It is very easy to go from one color to the next. I have not worn or washed it yet. My first order of colors worked so well, I ordered more colors. I will be making a scarf to match the hat.
I like the classic, high-quality yarn. It's always one of the first I turn to for wool worsted. I use it for hats and home decor.
