I have been using this yarn for years. I weave fabric using chenille and then sew it into a variety of garments. Webs has the best quality and great color selection.
Valley Yarns Rayon Chenille Yarn - Rayon 4 Ply
By Valley Yarns
Product Description
Valley Yarns Rayon Chenille makes spectacular woven items with its saturated colors and velvety hand. WEBS is one of the only suppliers of rayon chenille to use colorfast dyes, giving our yarn exceptional quality and value. Fine gauge machine knitters can also produce wonderful fabrics with rayon chenille, but we do not recommend this yarn for hand knitting as it is slippery and likely to stretch.Sett:12-18 epi.
Note: This yarn is sold in whole cones. Wind-offs are not available for this yarn. On average, cones weigh ~1lb but vary and can range between 0.8lbs to 1.3lbs.
Color Cards and Color Books for this yarn are available.

Valley Yarns Rayon Chenille is so soft and Lucious! Just finished a scarf and then a blanket wrap, and love the results. After wet finish, the yarn has a luxurious, soft hand!

I am using this yarn as a warp for a scarf with a variegated chenille I already had. It seems to be holding up well as a warp and I am happy with my weaving results. I definitely will be purchasing other colors in the future.

I love this brand of chenille. It wet finishes great and has wonderful “drape”. It has a wide variety of colors, too, which allows a weaver many choices using it as a solid or mixed.

This is terrible chenille. I warped my loom with 7 yards of this white combined with other quality chenille. Before I've even started weaving I can see multiple areas of white where the chenille has come loose, leaving behind a thin thread. Pretty sure I won't be able to weave 7 yards without multiple breaks in the warp. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BUYING THIS YARN!

Wonderfully fuzzy and vibrant colors. Seems to stretch easily, but low-tension weaving seems to be going great. Complex patterns might become muddy if using similar colors of this chenille as both warp and weft, but thats how fuzzy yarn is

Chenille Scarf
This chenille was easy to weave and made a lovely scarf.

Good value, but not as soft and drapey as I'd hoped for after finishing. Even washing delicately by hand, the fringe on the scarves I've woven looks very frayed.

Every weaving yarn I have purchased from WEBS, and I've purchased many, many cones, have been wonderful. I completely rely on them for great products and service.
