I'm using it for making a baby blankie from a 12 year old magazine pattern. The baby will be my elder son's first and my fourth grandchild. I'm going to knit the eyes in yellow, instead of putting buttons on as the pattern shows. I have a hanging yarn spindle that feeds the yarn magically. I put the skein on a swift, wound it into a ball, and speared the ball with the spindle. It's lovely to work with. Safety is important because babies chew everything. I'm not finished yet. It's a little tighter than I anticipated, because the pattern called for size 8 needles. At row 34, I transitioned to 9's, and about row 66, I will go for 10's. There's an I-cord bind off which I shall work in green on 11's.
