Roselle Tee KAL with Patty Lyons (5)

WEBS is excited to be the official yarn vendor for the next Patty Lyons knit-along, the Roselle Tee! Patty’s video KAL is more like an online class with sweater modifications, knitting how-to's and hours of videos for the price of a pattern. You can purchase the pattern on Ravelry here.

As if that wasn’t enough, you can knit a matching outfit for your Dolores doll for a fabulous Dolores and Me look! This adorable tee is completely reversible. Wear the lace inverted pleat in the front or the back. A link to purchase the kit for a matching tee for Dolores is below, the Bleatnik Poetic Ensemble.

The Roselle Tee KAL casts on April 1st.  How does a KAL (stands for Knit-Along) work?

As soon as you purchase your pattern you will get your introduction with videos on gauge, schematic reading and picking the right size. A new section of the pattern will be released on this schedule:

  • Part 1: April 1
  • Part 1: April 15
  • Part 3: April 29
  • Part 4: May 13
  • Grand Prizes: May 20

Join Patty's Ravelry group for discussion threads and more information, including prize drawings! Join the KAL anytime…the KAL info will stay live on Patty's Ravelry group forever, and the video tutorials will never expire! More information about scheduling and KAL FAQs is available on

Shop Yarn for Roselle Tee

You will need to pick out your favorite color of Valley Yarns Granville. If a color is backordered or we don't have enough in stock, you can still place an order for your favorite color and we'll ship your order in one dye lot asap. Note backordered Granville colors won't be back in stock until May at the earliest. Make sure to add an extra skein for swatching or altering the pattern. Patty will be providing options to change the body and sleeve length as well as altering the neck. If you're not familiar with the WEBS Discount, you can save up to 25% on any products with the WEBS Discount tag. Discount will be applied in your cart.

While you wait for your color of Granville to come back in stock (you know you’ll want to knit two 😀) Patty has come up with a few yarn subs:

To make sure you order enough yarn, take the number of hanks you need of Granville and multiply by 167yds. Then divide that by the yardage of the yarn you are subbing.

For example, if you want to knit the large that requires 7 hanks of Granville ➤ 7 x 167yds = 1169yds. Then if you would like to sub the Valley Superwash Sport at 153yds per ball ➤ 1169yds ÷ 153yds = 7.6 balls. So you would then buy 8 balls (or 9 if you want extra for swatching and to adjust the pattern).
