Email Marketing Coordinator

This person will handle a variety of responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Responsible for creation of campaigns from conception through implementation, including creative asset development and production, customer segmentation, personalization and messaging, scheduling and deliverability, campaign analysis, A/B test strategies, and new campaign recommendations working with the Marketing team
  • Designing, implementing and manage consumer email marketing campaigns
  • Coordinating across various internal partners in ecommerce, merchandising, marketing, and design to ensure emails are created, approved, and delivered on-time
  • Optimizing of email marketing performance through A/B testing, personalization, creative, and dynamic content management
  • Tracking email engagement and sales performance using our Email Service Provider and Google Analytics
  • Providing weekly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reporting as necessary
  • Coordinating and working with our Email Service Provider’s team to optimize and grow our email marketing 
  • Maintaining and growing email lists 
  • Staying up-to-date on email marketing best practices, technologies, and trends 
  • Duties may also include other forms of online marketing

We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:

  • Desire to work and grow in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with HTML/CSS, website development required
  • Experience with Dreamweaver & Photoshop required
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Google Analytics required in order to analyze results. 
  • Previous email marketing experience preferred
  • Eagerly willing to tackle unfamiliar problems and research "best practice" solutions
  • Critical thinking & problem solving abilities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

This person should also be obsessively detail-oriented, able to handle multiple tasks concurrently and have a strong work ethic. We have a fun but very fast-paced environment.

Marketing Coordinator

WEBS – America’s Yarn Store is looking for a dynamic individual to join our growing marketing team as a full-time Marketing Coordinator. Our Marketing Team has the unique opportunity to execute branding, marketing and advertising initiatives for our store, website, on-line presence and our in-house yarn brand Valley Yarns across all of our fiber arts channels. The candidate best suited for this position is someone who thrives in a growing company and can acclimate to not only a diverse range of tasks, but an evolving business landscape.

The Marketing Coordinator will handle a variety of responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Assist Marketing Manager in all aspects of driving brand awareness and sales across all brands and relevant platforms.
  • Assist Marketing Manager in the development and execution of 4 knitting catalogs and one weaving catalog annually. 
  • Maintain archive of Valley Yarns
  • Develop and send color cards promoting Valley Yarns to relevant publishers, designers & authors.
  • Maintain database and manage distribution of yarns to outside designers & publishers; provide team with updates on new design releases.
  • Post weekly Ready, Set, Knit podcast show notes; provide Steve with his Yarn Picks of the Week
  • Create assorted Coupons, Postcards and Sale Flyers as directed.
  • Manage all donation requests including products, raffle prizes and sponsorship dollars.

We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:

  • Strong communication, writing and organizational skills are a must
  • Desire to work and grow in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with various on-line platforms including Office, Word, Excel, Scene7
  • Desire to be part of an evolving and growing team in a multi-faceted industry.
  • Knitting experience (required)

Social Media Coordinator

WEBS – America’s Yarn Store is looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as a full-time Social Media Coordinator. WEBS strives to provide a high level of customer service; engage frequently with followers, brands, and potential new customers; and inspire, encourage, and educate our followers in all things related to yarn.

The Social Media Coordinator will handle a variety of responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Attract and interact with social media users who are interested in knitting, crochet, weaving, and spinning.
  • Manage all of our social media pages, primarily Facebook, Twitter, Ravelry, and Instagram
  • Manage our YouTube channel including uploading videos; optimizing videos with captions, keywords, annotations, and transcriptions; and monitoring and responding to comments on our videos.
  • Manage our advertising on social media and optimize our social media posts and ads to drive sales and traffic to our website.
  • Continue to build our following across all our major social media channels through engagement, ads, cross promotion, and other marketing campaigns.
  • Assist the Marketing Manager and Email Marketing Coordinator with various tasks and projects as needed.

We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:

  • Strong communication, writing and analytic skills
  • Comfort and confidence with speaking in the WEBS “voice”
  • Desire to work and grow in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with various social media channels
  • Basic photo editing skills
  • Knitting experience (required)

Part-Time Photography Coordinator

WEBS – America’s Yarn Store is looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as Photography Coordinator. This is a part-time position, 20 hours/week. This person will handle a variety of responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Photograph incoming products and accessories for our website and marketing.
  • Photograph activity in the store.
  • Help manage our photo library in Lightroom and on SmugMug with basic photo edits and metadata.
  • Help the Multimedia Manager with image processing of products in PhotoShop.
  • Help with photoshoots and other events.
  • Assist the Multimedia Manager with various tasks and projects as needed.

We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:

  • Strong photography skills
  • Comfort and confidence with technology
  • Desire to work and grow in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom

This person should be detail-oriented and have a strong work ethic. We have a fun but in a very fast-paced environment.
