Andrea Rangel Kalaloch PDF

Kalaloch, designed by Andrea Rangel, are cozy cabled leggings with encased elastic waistband worked top-down seamlessly with short row shaping worked at the seat. When the first leg is complete, the second leg is worked using held stitches from the hip section and picking up stitches. The cable pattern is in chart form only.

     Low Waist – 22½ (25½, 28¼, 30½, 33½, 36¼, 39¼)”
     Full Hip – 29 (32, 35, 37¾, 39¼, 42¼, 45)”
Yarn: 831 (942, 1043, 1126, 1237, 1339, 1450) yards of DK to worsted weight yarn such as Berroco Vintage (50% Acrylic/40% Wool/10% Nylon; 100g/217yds)
Needles: US 6 (4.00mm) 16”,  2 24” circular needles and DPNs to get gauge
Gauge:
     22 sts and 32 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch
     28 sts and 30 rows = 4” in unstretched cable pattern
