$8.00 Each
It is the changeovers between rib, seed, garter, and cables that make Baby Cocktails Hudson Valley Cider stunning. This women’s sweater is the not-so-classic Gansey sweater as the cable lines down the body are long and lean and flattering, with horizontal elements then placed both above and below them. The ribbing on the upper bust is set high, so it lengthens the body and draws the eye to the shoulder and neck details. Dropped sleeves are highlighted by garter stitch shoulders and the seed stitch details at the top of each arm. Hudson Valley Cider is knit from the bottom up in the round to the armholes. Short rows add shaping to neckline and shoulders. Sleeves are picked up once shoulders are seamed and they are worked in the round to the cuffs. The cowl is picked up and worked upwards in the round. The cable pattern is charted and written out.
