Product Details
The Botanist from Baby Cocktails is a take on the traditional women’s sweater lightened up, a little more modern, feminine, and wearable. The Botanist is designed with a mix of textures and cables that read as soft and delicate, a bit shorter and boxier. This cardigan is knit flat from the bottom up in one piece to the armholes and sleeves are also knit flat and set into armholes. The cable patterns are charted and written out.
Finished Measurements: Sample is worn with 4–5” of positive ease

Yarn Requirements: 1350 (1450, 1600, 1700, 1775) (1875, 2000, 2150) yards of worsted weight yarn such as Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok 50 (100% Fine Highland Wool; 50g/123yds)
Needles:
US 5 (3.75mm) for sleeve cuffs
US 6 (4.00mm) 29” or longer for body, sleeves, and collar
Gauge:
20 sts and 28 rows = 4” in double seed and reverse stockinette stitch
43 stitch front cable panel = 6½” wide
