It has a rough texture, but the color is great. The linen dominates. It’s 40% silk, but it doesn’t feel at all like silk. Maybe the silk contributes to the luminous color. Also, I machine washed and dried my swatch to soften it, and plan to do so with my final project. It’s a scarf, so any impact on sizing won’t matter much.
What I wanted and arrived timely!
This is perfect for the t shirt I'm making. Love the color and the quick shipping.
Nice and crisp. Knits beautifully. Can't wait to wear my new top!
Efficient quick and love the discounts as an added perk! Thank you
This yarn knits up beautifully and is lightweight for summer garments. Have to be careful to prevent the yarn from splitting.
I liked working with this yarn. The silk softens the texture from linen alone. I did receive 1 skein that was overspun and caused a noticeable difference in fabric which meant I spent a lot of time trying to untwist it. This wears well but does grow in length once worn as pure linen does. I would recommend this yarn for summer garments!
Making Berroco pattern Patti top. Enjoying knitting with it though a little splitty perhaps because of linen. Looking forward to wearing through the summer.
