I used this before for a child's sweater and like it enough to purchase for a baby blanket. Did NOT like the way the yarn knitted up; it seem to separate. I ended up sending all but the one skein I opened back.
Love the feel and color of this yarn
I'm allergic to wool so I can only use cottons, acrylics, polyesters, and alpaca. I have used Berroco Sport before, as well as many other Berroco products. I wasn't impressed this time. The skein had many knots and was shredding in places. Didn't seem to be a first quality yarn. It impacted my granddaughter's sweater.

For a baby hat
This is the second time I've ordered the Comfort yarn. I made a sweater for my daughter out of it, and the navy blue was the perfect color. The feel of the yarn makes you want to stroke it! I love this yarn even if it tends to separate into 8 mini strands too easily!
Berocco Comfort Yarn. Fibers do tend to separate but it is lovely yarn knitted in a light garment, light throw, or children's garment.
