Product Details

Berroco Emmi designed by Amy Christoffers is a knitted women’s v-neck cardigan with a lace striped bodice and set-in balloon sleeves using Arno. The body is worked from the bottom up in one piece with an allover lace pattern. The sleeves are worked in the round from the cuff to the underarm; then the sleeve caps are worked back and forth in rows. Arno from Berroco is a fantastic blend of cotton and Merino wool perfect for cool weather sweaters. Arno has a gorgeous sheen and soft hand with an interesting construction—the wool fibers are blown into a cotton mesh tube, resulting in lighter than air fabrics that have incredible warmth. The lace pattern is in chart form only.

I got 3/4 of the sweater finished and ripped it all out. I found a different pattern for the yarn I bought. The sweater was way too small. I couldn't even get the cuff around my wrist. The cable front was very difficult to get just right without some small holes in the knitting. Too bad since it was a very unique style!
