I love working with this weight and brand of yarn! I did mistake the superwash gauge square with the non-super wash gauge version and this is definitely not appropriate for standard washing. Treat it well and don't wash it! The 2x2 rib was soft and stretchy with 100% wool fibers until I washed it by mistake. It's fine though as the sadness of washing my gauge squares before measuring gauge was used as an excuse to buy more colors so i "had enough" for the final project!😅

Beautiful yarn for baby projects
I love the rich red ruby color and the feel of the yarn. I was planning a two-color scarf, but I have given up on that project. I'm using it for a baby sweater.

Cascade produces nice yarns that are consistent in color, thickness and texture. I'm making a yoked sweater that features colorwork. The Sportweight 220 (non superwash) is perfect for this. There is just enough "stickiness" for the motifs to really show. I've used this yarn before and will use it again. Photo is WIP.

I am using this yarn for the first time to make a pair of Norwegian mittens. Normally I would use fingering weight wool but I am enjoying using this sport weight yarn instead which has slightly more heft and produces a lovely fabric at 6sts/inch. The colors I chose are great - an earthy brown and a gold. The yarn is really great quality and nice and sticky - just what you need for standed color work projects.

The colors and texture are top notch for both crochet and knit projects. I am working on a sweater, but I've crochet and knit numerous squares for assorted wearables. I do test new colors in a good swatch, wash and block, but this is my reliable, every project buy.

Cascade 220 sport has great stitch definition and comes in a huge selection of colors. It’s not the softest yarn, but it’s a great choice for a wide range of projects at a very reasonable price.

Cascade produces nice, consistent yarn. I'm making a holiday sweater that features stranded color work. The 220 sport is pefect for this project. I've used this yarn in the past and will use it in the future. Because it is NOT Superwash, it has just enough "stickiness" to really show off the work. Photo is the WIP (work in progress)
Great yarn
I'm using it for Northerly sweater,the yellow red and black for the color work project. It has great stitch definition and its extremely affordable.
