Been a Cascade yarns 220 fan for a long time.
Color good , yarn worked up quickly , haven’t washed it yet. I’d prefer that yarn to be a little softer . But good value and no real problems.
I’ve bought 4 skeins of this so far and I love it! I’ve made hats and would love to venture into a sweater at some point. I’ve heard some people say that they get a little mass of yarn but it hides well into the stitches of the hats I’ve never had a problem with it. Always soft, always the same and solid color all the way through. This is my favorite yarn!

Cascade 220 is a go to yarn, always great quality, wonderful choice of colors, smooth and a soft easy knit. I try my hardest to choose this yarn first, as I’m assured of the quality.
Cascade 220 is an excellent worsted weight yarn at a reasonable price. The superwash merino is very soft yet quite durable. I use it for hats, cowls and baby blankets and it washes up beautifully.
This is my favorite yarn. The colors are vibrant. The yarn rarely splits. I have not experienced any joins in the yarn yet. I have made everything from scarves and hats to sweaters and even cozies for a tortoise (she wears crochet rounds on her shell and it eases her anxieties.) All have been machine washed - in the case of the tortoise cozies, many times - the yarn gets slightly softer with washing, but the color remains vibrant and the size remains true. Im very impressed.
The yarn was enjoyable to knit. However, after washing and drying, my knitted swatch felted somewhat with diminished stitch definition. If I were to use it, I would air dry the project.
I love this yarn. I've tried dahlia and lily pad colors so far. Very vibrant. Soft but good substance. Doesn't split easily. I've washed items I've made with this yarn in my washing machine and they come out like new.
