Purchased two contrasting skeins to use for a bulky hat. The contrast gave it a cool look. Great for everyday use and washing in a machine (many gift recipients appreciate this).
I was hoping to use this for a baby blanket gift, since so many reviews said this was a very soft yarn. I started the blanket, thinking maybe it would feel softer to me as I got more of the blanket knitted. Not! I asked a few people to choose the softer between this yarn and an all-cotton yarn, and hands-down, all chose the all-cotton. I don't think this yarn is soft at all (only feels soft in the skein). I frogged what I had done, wound it up, and gave it all to the Salvation Army. I'm sure someone will appreciate it. As for delivery time and packing, WEBS nailed it, as usual. Thank you.
This yarn tries to feel soft, but it has an annoying scratchiness about it. Has the feeling of wool, yet has no wool in it. Makes my skin itchy. I wanted to like it, because the color is pretty, but it's scratchiness is not for me.
The colors are just so absolutely gorgeous! The super pastel and light colors that make up the yarn are just so stunning that it kind of looks like a kaleidoscope. It's a bit more coarse than expected but still very soft!

What a gorgeous and versatile yarn! Cascade cartwheel is a great heavier worsted/almost chunky yarn that works up into interesting pieces with bands of gorgeous variegated colors that all pair together well. Cartwheel is soft and has great body to it.
I made an entrelac drawstring backback out of this. I love the how the colors play, especially in entrelac. I do plan to line it to eliminate any potential stretching.
I thought Cascade Yarns produced high quality products, but this sure doesn't meet their standards. Splits too easily and there are far to many knots along the entire skeins.
Bought several skeins of this yarn to make simple lap robes for hospice patients. Works up quickly. Blanket is soft. The self-striping creates a pretty effect. Great buy on sale.
