The “giver of delight,” Euterpe was a joyous muse and the inspiration behind this shawl from Designs by Romi. This shawl is joyous and celebratory, one version in garter stitch and the other in stockinette stitch and embellished with beads. The top of the shawl is knit without a spine, using a circular increase scheme, and then - as the lace border takes shape - a triangular form emerges in the lovely smocked lace pattern. Lace pattern is both charted and written out.
