Asheville
Morning from E. Elliott Knits is a lovely tribute to Asheville, NC, where Elizabeth
would stop and visit a very dear friend or her back from the Maryland Sheep
& Wool Festival. This beautiful wrap makes her think of those visits and the
town: the twisted stitch pattern reminding her of the mountains and the rivers
of Appalachia; the shape and style both modern and unexpected. Asheville
Morning is knit from end to end in a slowly widening rib. The various
stitches and the cable pattern are charted and written out.
