Ironwork Mitts from Jen Hagan Design got their name from the resemblance the colorwork pattern has to a wrought iron gate. With the stranded knitting taking place at the cuff and top of the hand, you can focus on the stranded sections and the shaping section for the thumb gusset individually. Mitts are worked in the round, with a thumb gusset and wrist shaping for a great fit. The colorwork patterns are in chart form only.
