Hedgehog Fibres Le Pouf Cardigan is a lovely yet simple top-down women’s cardigan that lets you get creative using Hedgehog Sock. Find the perfect sequence
of colors that makes you ecstatic! The sweater is knit using two strands of
color A held together, then you will drop one strand of color A and replace it
with one strand of color B. After that, knit with two strands of color B, and
so on. There is no striping with this method, and marling produces a softer changeover.
Sizes: XS (S, M, L, XL) (2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL) to fit 28–30 (32–34, 36–38, 40–42, 44–46 48–50, 52–54, 56–58, 60–62)” bust – to be worn with 2” of ease so the S size actual measurement is 34”, the ease is at the back.
Yarn Requirements: 5 (5, 5, 6, 6) (7, 7, 8, 8) hanks Hedgehog Fibres Sock (90% Superwash Merino Wool/ 10% Nylon; 100g/437yds) – size S uses 5 skeins/in a fade arrangement
Needles: US 6 (4.00mm) 32” circular and DPNs
Gauge: 21 sts and 28 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch with two strands of yarn held together, blocked lightly by washing and laying flat to dry
