Hedgehog Fibres Shandon is a gorgeous big, thick, and snuggly cowl knit in Merino Aran. The accessory features a staggered reversible rib pattern that is a quick knit and fun to wear. Shandon is knit in the round from the bottom up seamlessly. Round and Squishy is the best way to describe Hedgehog Fibres’ Merino Aran yarn! With its beautiful dye job, this yarn brings life to any project. The staggered rib pattern is in chart form only.

Yarn Requirements: 2* hanks Hedgehog Fibres Merino Aran (100% Superwash Merino; 100g/182yds) shown in Concrete (WEBS do not carry this color)
Needles: US 8 (5.00mm) 24” circular to get gauge
Gauge: 18 sts and 27 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch, after wet blocking
*Note: The cowl took precisely 2 skeins. For peace of mind, buy 3 hanks, but if you are daring or willing to sacrifice one or two rounds, buy only two!
