Twist Stitch Cap from Jen Hagan
Design was initially designed for the 30th birthday of designer Jen Hagan’s
daughter Emily. This hat has a clear and simple geometric pattern that
thoughtfully integrates the crown shaping into the design with beautiful
results. The cable pattern is both charted and written out.
Finished Measurements: 18 (20, 22)" circumference and 9¼” deep
Yarn Requirements: Approximately 100 yards worsted weight yarn such
as Valley Yarns Amherst (100% Merino Wool; 50g/109yds)
Needles: US 8 (5.00mm) 16” circular and DPNs
Gauge: 16 sts and 20 rnds = 4" in cable pattern, after
blocking
