The Kaleidoscopic Cowl by Kira K Designs is a great experiment in color! Using either two or eight color to knit this gorgeous cowl, the easy slip-stitch pattern works best with a mix of dark and lighter/brighter yarns, or choose one solid and one variegated for the two-color version.

Finished measurements: circumference - 24"; length - 2-color version - 11.75"; 8-color version - 12.5"
Yarn: 2-color version -130 yards worsted weight yarn in main color and 110 yards worsted weight yarn in contrast color; 8-color version - 30 yards worsted weight yarn in each color
Needles: US 6 (4mm) and US 9 (5.5mm) 16" circular needles or size needed to obtain gauge and 3 sizes smaller
Gauge: 4" = 16 sts and 28 rounds in Kaleidoscope Pattern on larger needles
