The Crooked Little Baby Bonnet by Knitting School Dropout is a cute baby bonnet based on her Crooked Paths Beret pattern. Because of the stretchy nature of the lace fabric and i-cord ties, this hat will fit most babies between 6-18 months of age. Bonnet is worked flat and seamed up the back. This pattern can be worked in any worsted-weight yarn that will give you the suggested gauge. A hat for a smaller baby can be worked in lighter weight yarn if desired. The lace pattern is charted and written out.

Finished Measurements: 16-18” head circumference
Yarn Requirements: 100 yards of worsted weight yarn such as Malabrigo Rios (100% Superwash Merino Wool; 100g/210yds)
Needles:
US 7 (4.50mm) single points or circular
US 5 (3.75mm) circular or DPNs for i-cord
Gauge: 18 sts and 26 rows = 4” in the lace pattern
