Lana Grossa’s Cardigan in Cool Air is an
elegant women’s sweater featuring a shawl collar done in half-brioche rib, dropped
shoulders with a fabulous lace and cable pattern. The sweater is knit flat in
pieces from the bottom up and then seamed together. Cool Air from Lana Grossa
is a warm and cozy blend of Merino, alpaca, and polyamide. Cool Air is a blown
yarn, with fibers of Merino and alpaca blown into a polyamide tube. This gives
your projects a lovely lightweight feel that's comparable to a chainette yarn
but helps to reduce pilling as the fabrics wear. Lofty and lightweight, Cool
Air is ideal for warm winter wears like sweaters, scarves, and hats. The half-brioche
rib and cable pattern is in chart form only.
