The Milkweed Shawl by Laura Chau is a small, reversible shawl that is super quick to knit and perfect to drape over your shoulders or wrap around your neck for that little bit of warmth (especially against overzealous air conditioning!). Perfect for that special ball of sock yarn, this shawl is knit from the center back neck down in garter stitch. The lace patterns are charted and written out.

Finished Measurements: 54” across the top and 19” deep at the center back
Yarn Requirements: 350 yards of fingering weight yarn such as Malabrigo Sock (100% Superwash Merino; 100g/440yds)
Needles: US 4 (3.50mm) 24” or longer circular
Gauge: 20 sts and 32 rows = 4” in garter stitch
