Oolong from designer Laura Chau is a fingering weight version of the popular Amelia cardigan pattern, first published on knitty.com in the winter of 2008. This version is knit in a lightweight, bouncy merino wool with lots of stitch definition. The twisted rib panels are evocative of pintucks and give this cardigan a great polished look. Perfect for the office, dressed up with a skirt or worn casually with jeans. You’ll never want to take it off!
Oolong is worked seamlessly from the bottom up with raglan sleeves, and features deep garter stitch edgings, tailored side shaping, and a deep scoopneck. Close-fitting and meant to be worn with minimal (0-2”/ 0-5cm) ease. Choose the finished size that is closest to your high bust measurement.
