Winden Cardigan from Laura Chau is a super squishy
cabled women’s cardigan, perfect for throwing on over almost anything knit in
Malabrigo Rios. The single and double cable crosses are intuitive and
satisfying to work, and a panel of cables running up the center of the set-in
sleeves. This is a must-have for your winter wardrobe! The body is knit in one
piece from the bottom up to the underarms. The sleeves are worked in the round to
the underarm and then flat for the sleeve cap and seamed in. The button bands
and collar are picked up and knit last. The cable patterns are charted and
written out.
