Rendezvous Shawl PDF
Rendezvous is a triangle-shaped shawl worked from the bottom up. This time I knit this shawl using light fingering weight yarn that my husband dyed for me. The pattern includes charts and written directions, and instructions to calculate the stitch count totals for every row. I also include the number of stitches to cast on and the yardage for a different number of repeats.

Any sock yarn. I used Rendezvous Yarn 100% Merino Superwash (Burnt Orange color) 1 skein (100g, 490 yards) for 9 repeats (I only had a few yards left over, so I suggest doing 8 repeats if you are not a tight knitter like me). Blue shawl is made with Valley Yarns Colrain Lace, using less than one cone in color Whipple Blue.
Yardage: 304 - 1,003 yards, depending on the number of repeats completed
Gauge: Mark your yarn 1 meter (stretched out). Within this 1 meter, you need to make 61 knit sts, otherwise please adjust your needle size accordingly.
Note : exact gauge is not essential for a shawl - it just needs to be close enough to make sure you won’t run out of yarn. If you are able to knit fewer stitches than those listed above, you will need more yarn to complete the shawl.
Finished Size (9 repeats): 55" wide by 26.5" deep
Needle: 3.5 mm (US 4) and 4.0 mm (US 6) circular needle, 32" or longer.
Notions: stitch markers (optional)
