Lyrical Knits Twelfth Knit PDF
Twelfth Knit from Lyrical Knits is a doubly-thick cowl inspired by the brocade patterns of the Elizabethan Period and from a costume worn by actor Marc Rylance in his performance in Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night. Worked entirely in the round, the outer colorwork pattern is worked first, followed by a purl round and a simple, inner colorwork pattern. The inner pattern is folded inward, and the two ends are sewn to each other. These colorwork patterns work equally well in high contrast and low contrast pairings, producing a different effect with each. Colorwork patterns are charted only.
