The Verve Pullover from Lyrical Knits is all about feeling your enthusiastic best! Like its fingering-weight version (Valine), Verve is worked from the shoulders-down with set-in 3/4 sleeves that are created simultaneously with the upper bodice in a technique originally described by Barbara Walker (a photo tutorial is included so you can check your work). Make it in a basic sport or DK yarn for an everyday, go-to sweater, or jazz it up with a special luxury-fiber yarn. Choose a shallow twisted rib and the hem & cuffs, or a k2p2 ribbing. Either way, this is a basic sweater that performs beautifully with anything from jeans to a snazzy pencil skirt. Shaping to the waist and hips is accomplished along princess “seams” to allow for maximum customization.
